Two vehicles, plus visible personal items from multiple vehicles, were stolen from the west side of Cross Creek Ranch. A handgun was among the stolen items. Fulshear Police warn residents to lock up and protect their property.

Suspects Targeted Unlocked Vehicles

Four suspects went door to door in the Cross Creek Ranch community from 2:00 am - 2:30 am on Wednesday, August 14 checking for unlocked and exposed vehicles.

"Crooks talk about 'easy scores' and we don’t want them talking about our city," says Fulshear Police via their official Facebook page.

Stolen Vehicles and Property Left Vulnerable

The stolen vehicles had key fobs inside making them easy targets for the thieves. One vehicle had a handgun inside that was stolen. In each case where items were stolen, the vehicles were unlocked.

The suspects' race is not known but they wore long-sleeved hoodies. One of the stolen vehicles has already been recovered in north Harris County.

Remove Belongings, Lock Up Every Night

To prevent being an easy target, remove valuable personal items from your vehicle that could tempt thieves, and lock up your vehicle every night if you must park on the street or driveway.

"We have all left items in our vehicles and we have all failed to remember to lock our cars at some point in our life," says Fulshear Police. "Please get into a habit of locking up EVERY NIGHT. If at all possible, put your vehicles in the garage."
