Austin Pets Alive, an Austin-based no-kill shelter has been in Katy for several days and has rescued and transported over 2000 pets who have been separated from owners or left in flooding shelters. The Austin shelter is at full capacity and they have no space to temporarily house the new pets arriving constantly. The group is desperately seeking a temporary indoor shelter space for approximately 3-4 weeks. They are looking for an air conditioned space between 5000-10,000 square feet to house remaining pets.
