Katy Youth Baseball Umpire Arrested on Drug Charges

A Katy youth baseball umpire is behind bars after he was arrested Saturday after being found in possession of crystal meth. The empire worked with Katy baseball players at Katy Park off of Morton Road.



A concerned citizen notified authorities yesterday, February 12, 2022, after seeing an umpire at a Katy youth baseball act suspicious at his vehicle. The baseball games were held at Katy Park in the 24900 block of Morton Ranch Road. This was involved with a select tournament through Perfect Game.



Katy Little League Umpire Found with Crystal Meth

Deputies from Constable Ted Heap’s Office arrested the umpire at the little league ballgame after he was found in possession of crystal meth.


Brent Thrasher, 35, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance yesterday. He was taken to the Harris County Jail.


Concerned citizens should always reach out to authorities when they see something suspicious.
