The third annual Katy Color Run  benefiting six Katy Area charities was announced to take place on March 23 and will be held at Kingsland Baptist Church.

What is the Color Run?

The "color run" is when participants run or walk for a cause and volunteers throw colored powered at them. Often times participants will wear white so they can easily show off their colors at the end of the race.

Learn more about volunteering to help with packet/registration or be a color captain or chalk thrower who throws the power on the runners. All volunteers must be at least 12 years of age.

Bigger Each Year

Each year the run garners more participation. In its third year it is expected participation is 1,500 runners since adding a 10K.
