The Katy High School Theatre department has built an 18-inch deep pool in their Black Box for the two-week run of Metamorphoses.

Mary Zimmerman adapted the myths recorded by Roman poet Ovid (43 BC – 17 AD) to retell ancient stories of gods and fortunes. Many scenes are performed in water, which Zimmerman says represents its own character in the play.

Tickets are available at the door. The box office opens at 6:15pm.
