”Continue to believe in yourself," says Smith. "Stay focused on your passion, have good work ethic and don’t be afraid to take the next step.”
Smith trained for 10 years at Juleigh Holley’s School of Dance in Katy, and then with the late Catriona Steel. Last summer, Smith started training with the Houston Ballet. She placed in the top 12 at Youth American Grand Prix, the world's largest ballet competition.

The Houston Repertoire Ballet Company
The Houston Repertoire Ballet may not be as well-known as the Houston Ballet, but the company gives ballet students an opportunity to train towards a professional dancer's life. HRB is a pre-professional ballet company celebrating 24 years of performances. The company's goal is to give young and talented dancers the serious training needed to pursue a professional future in dance.
