On Saturday, April 21, Comcast employees, along with teachers, staff, parents, and students at Rhoads Elementary, will work together to beautify the campus. All are invited to pitch in and make a difference!
"Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, church groups, high school students needing volunteer hours, neighboring HOAs and other groups are welcome! We are counting on you," says Rhoads Elementary Comcast Cares Coordinator, Jackie Belmarez.
In honor of #ComcastCares day, the Comcast employees will show up bright and early to help staff and Rhoads families with landscaping, general clean up, painting, and other projects, and they need all the hands they can get.
The project will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to wrap up around 12 noon. Volunteers will get a free breakfast and a tee shirt for helping.
The best news? Rhoads Elementary will receive a financial grant based on the number of volunteers that show up to help that day.
Rhoads Elementary is located at 19711 Clay Rd. between N. Fry and Greenhouse Rd.
