Mark your calendar for exciting Halloween events in Katy. There's something for kids of all ages - scary movies, hayrides, candy, dancing, and more!


1. FRIGHT NIGHTS

Cinemark presents "big screams on the big screen" with classic movies for all ages. Check their Fright Nights schedule here to reserve tickets for "Nightmare on Elm Street," "The Exorcist," "Monsters, Inc.," "Scream," and more. The theatre also offers special food and drink deals.

Alamo Drafthouse delivers a spooky collection of frightening fun on the big screen. Choose from timeless terror classics to the biggest supernatural comedy hits of the '80s and '90s - "Ghostbusters (1984)," "The Slumber Party Massacre," "The Lost Boys," and "Beetlejuice." Trick or Treat Cinema at Alamo Drafthouse features "Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation," "Beetlejuice," and "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Showings include free treats and discount tickets for kids 12 and under. Costumes are encouraged.

5. BLACKLIGHT PARTY

Pinot's Palette

Grab your friends and some witching brew and head to Pinot's Palette. The Friday night painting features a colorful, moonlit sky that glows beautifully under both natural and black lights! Pinot's Palette also offer other bootiful projects to take home.

This event is presented by the Katy Area Safety Fest. Guests will receive free goodie bags with safety information and giveaways. Attendees must remain in their vehicles, face masks are required and social distancing will be observed. No walk-ups, please.

Bring the family out to Smith Ranch in Katy to enjoy moonwalks, hayrides, paddle boats, pony rides, games, a hay maze, pumpkin patch, and more! Admission is $10, and children 2 and under are free.

10. TRUNK OR TREAT

2 - 5 p.m.

American Legion Post 164

22125 Kingsland Boulevard

This Trunk or Treat is open to children under 12 and is sponsored by the West Memorial Friends, American Legion Post 164, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 164, and the West I-10 Volunteer Fire Department.

Volunteers are needed; please call 281 395-3629.

11. TREAT OR TREAT

Battlehops Brewery

All treats, no tricks at Battlehops Halloween night! Halloween candy and beer pairings, pumpkin ice cream root beer floats, and some of our favorite spooky board games! Costumes welcome.

12. BATTLEHOPS MYSTERIES: WITCHES' BREW

Battlehops invites guests into a digital escape-room game at the brewery! Solve the mystery of the witch by opening locks with clues. The team with the fastest time wins the grand prize: a swag basket from Battlehops Brewing and West of Houston Craft.
