Katy ISD was granted permission by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) to extend their free breakfast and lunch service to all Katy ISD students through October 31.
The initiative was previously designated for the month of September. However, because many Katy ISD families were impacted by the storm and the recovery efforts are ongoing, the District requested a program extension which was approved by the TDA.
