Seeking Christmas Decor for Harvey Families Thursday and Friday

    Katy Organization Hosts Pop Up Shop to Provide Christmas Decorations for Flood Victims

    The Harvey Housing Recovery Project (HHR) in Katy is now seeking Christmas donations for their Saturday Christmas “Pop-Up-Shop” that will provide free Christmas decor to families affected by the flood.

    Donate new and gently-used Christmas décor

    If you would like to donate Christmas Decorations, wrapping paper, ribbons, lights, garland or any Christmas items you no longer need or use. You may drop them off at the main entrance of Kingsland Baptist Church (Central Campus) between 9am and 4pm, Thursday, December 14 through Friday, Dec. 15th.

    If you are a flood victim and would like to spruce up your surroundings with some free Christmas decor, head to Kingsland Baptist Church on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 10AM-1PM and come and get what you need.

    The Harvey Housing Recovery Project's Mission is to help homeowners rebuild flooded homes through volunteer efforts and community support. For more information on this event, visit their Facebook page or click here for their website.
