The Harris County Sheriff's Office arrested Mason Kirby Gray, age 20, for two aggravated robberies in the Katy Area. Gray is also the man allegedly seen in the Snapchat video made public earlier where he was shooting a gun out of a moving vehicle.
Police said Gray was arrested tonight without incident in Katy. Gray was captured with the help of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force. Detectives said after surveillance video was released to public last week showing what looks to be Gray on camera at the robbery, they received tips that led to his capture.
Gray is alleged to have robbed two Katy Area stores. The first is located at the 2200 block of North Fry Road near Saums and the second is a Valero Corner station located at the 22500 block of Franz Road between North Mason Road and the Grand Parkway.
According to Gray's jail record on Tuesday night, he was booked tonight on two aggravated robberies with a deadly weapon and his bond was set for $30,000 on each charge. He was also booked for expired registration with a $200 bond.
UPDATE: As of Wednesday morning his bond was increased to $60,000 for each of the two aggravated robbery charges and the registration bond was no longer posted.
