Each year Katy ISD Announces One Winner for District-wide Campus Teacher of the Year, District-wide Rookie Teacher of the Year, Principals of the Year, Nurse of the Year and Counselors of the Year. The district surprises each of the recipients by showing up at their home campus with the special announcement.
