Mary Jo Peckham Aquatic & Fitness Center announces their lineup of classes and special events for April.
The center offers free yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and water aerobics classes for Katy residents. Fitness machines are also available during regular gym hours. The fitness and aquatic center is located at 5507 Gardenia Lane in historic Katy. See fitness center calendar here.
Priority is given to Harris County residents and those who live within City of Katy limits, but other counties may also participate.
FITNESS ROOM CLASSES & ACTIVITIES
Pilates
Mondays and Fridays: 10:45 am - 11:45 am
Yoga
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:30 am - 10:45 am
Mondays and Wednesday: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Zumba
Tuesdays: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
(Harris County and Katy City limits residents call Tuesday starting at 7:00 am for reservations, other counties call Tuesday starting at 10:00 am)
Thursdays: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
(Harris County and Katy City limits residents call Thursday starting at 7:00 am for reservations, other counties call Thursday starting at 10:00 am)
Saturdays: 8:15 am - 9:15 am
(Harris County and Katy City limits residents call Friday starting at 7:00 am for reservations, other counties call Friday starting at 10:00 am)
Senior Outdoor Fit and Fun
Tuesdays: 11:00 am - 11:30 am
Fitness Machines
Fitness equipment is available for use during various times throughout the day. Participants must be 16 years or older, bring a full-size towel and wear athletic shoes. Fitness machines can not be used during class times.

Deep Water Aerobics
Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 9:00 am
Water Aerobics
Monday - Friday: 9:05 am - 10:05 am
Mondays and Wednesdays: 5:45 pm - 6:45 pm
Arthritis Aquatics
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 11:00 am -12:00 pm
Recreational Time
Mondays and Wednesdays: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Recreational swim times are available by reservation only, for families or individuals to come and play in the pool. There is no lap swimming at this time. Reservations may be made one day in advance for Harris County residents and those who reside within the Katy City Limits. Other counties may call the day of the Recreational Time.
SPECIAL EVENTS
American Red Cross Pediatric/Adult CPR/AED/First Aid Class
Friday, May 3rd: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Harris County and Katy City limits residents may start signing up Monday, April 1st, other counties, Tuesday, April 2nd.
Health Screening
Wednesday, April 24th: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm (Call for details)
Registration/Release forms
Forms must be completed for each participant.
Minor children (17 years and under) must have a signature of parent/legal guardian
Adults must show proof of their residence (driver's license)
Children 17 years and under must show proof of age (birth certificate)
