Dogtopia, a nationally leading dog daycare, boarding and spa facility is set to open their Katy location (1817 S. Mason Road) next month. In addition to giving Katy families a new place to bring their pets, they want to help dogs to make a difference in the Katy community through their Dogtopia Foundation.
A Personalized Approach
Dogtopia offers complete transparency by walking pet parents through a facility tour while furry children are evaluated for the center’s open-play environment. This evaluation assigns pets to the most appropriate playroom.
Katy’s Dogtopia is owned by Shiraj Patel, a small business owner for the past 12 years.
“With Katy residents headed back to work now, Dogtopia is a safe and fun place for their dogs to spend their days,” says Shiraj Patel. “Their pups will never have to be anxious at home alone anymore.”
Dogtopia focuses on three key benefits: education, exercise and socialization. They employ webcam technology in each playroom that allows parents to check on their pups from anywhere, further putting their minds at ease.
“At Dogtopia, they will be loved, socialized, educated and exercised with our team of highly trained canine coaches,” says Patel, who also hopes to open another location in Sugar Land.
The center offers various playrooms so that dogs can feel comfortable in a room with other dogs of similar size and temperament. Each playroom has compressed rubber flooring to ease joints, prevent slipping and promote cleaner, safer play.
