Family Fun Run to Benefit Katy Nonprofits

The Katy Hearts and Hands Fun Run is this weekend and the deadline to register is this Wednesday. This community event will raise money for local charities.
The Katy Hearts & Hands Fun Run is this Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Legacy Stadium from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday is the deadline to register to walk or run online, and Thursday is the deadline to sign up in person.
“Grab your family and friends and join us for an easy-going, fun run or walk this Saturday,” says Dawn Champaign. “Participants can choose between a 1.25-mile or 3.75 mile course and will be cheered on by the Seven Lakes High School Cheerleaders while enjoying live entertainment from Z-Alpha Band.”
After the fun run Katy families can stick around for Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits, face painting, and a visit with a fire truck.
The Katy Hearts & Hands Fun Run will benefit Katy Responds and Supply Bridge Ministries to bring our community together for a fun run focused on connection, awareness, and impact. It also benefits Young Hearts and Hands, which connects local youth to volunteer opportunities.
Katy Responds helps local families through natural disasters in the way of relief, rebuild, and restoration.
Supply Bridge Ministries is another Katy-based nonprofit that supports families through Disaster Relief Supply Drives and Local Mission Support
Registration for individuals is $40 and for families is $60. The deadline to register online is Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
In person registration and pick up will be this Thursday, March 24, 2026 at Good Times Running Co. (22764 Westheimer Pkwy) from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
On the day of the run, racers who didn’t get their shirts or bibs can pick them up starting at 7:30 a.m. The 3.75 miles starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 1.25 miles starts at 8:45 a.m.
