The Fort Bend County Libraries system offers great, free, programs for Katy families to enjoy virtually. Since the physical libraries are closed to the public, the library features a revised format for their Summer Reading Challenge. This year, all activities are presented virtually so families can participate from home.
The Fort Bend County Libraries (FBCL) will post video programs for different age levels each week during the month of July. Families can watch Mother Goose Time and Toddler Time videos to participate in age-appropriate stories, songs, and puppet shows. Middle school-age children can watch the craft demonstrations and create their own projects.
Program Schedule for July
Mondays
Mother Goose Time (infants 1-12 months of age)
Tuesdays
Toddler Time (1-3 years of age)
Thursdays
Middle School Programs (grades 6-8)
Families of toddlers and preschoolers may pick up the month’s to-go activity packets in July. The packets contain fun craft activities that can be done at home.
