Due to high demand, Katy ISD will team up with Randall’s Pharmacy to offer a second optional COVID-19 vaccination opportunity on May 26. Advance registration is required online.
Katy ISD will offer another COVID-19 vaccination opportunity on Wednesday, May 26 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Agricultural Sciences Center (5801 Katy Hockley Cut-Off Rd). The vaccination will be available free of charge and is available for Katy ISD students ages 12 and up.
"Katy ISD continues to work with healthcare providers throughout the region to provide vaccination opportunities for staff and eligible students to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, should they be interested," stated Katy ISD in a press statement.
This is not the first time that the District has teamed up with Randall’s Pharmacy. This week they offered a vaccine opportunity to students. The demand from that event resulted in the scheduling on the May 26 event.
In order to get the vaccine, the student must have a valid Katy ISD student ID, along with a completed parent consent form for individuals who are 17 years of age or younger, must be presented.
The second vaccine dose for the May 26th vaccination opportunity will be administered on Thursday, June 17 in the same location.

Please note that Randall’s Pharmacy has only scheduled the May 19 opportunity at the Agricultural Sciences Center at this time.
The pharmacy plans on administering the second vaccine dose in the series on Wednesday, June 9 in the same location.
Again, this vaccine is optional. Katy ISD students are not required to take the COVID-19 vaccine in order to participate in District activities and/or programs.
Any Katy parents with any questions are directed to email the designated District email or call 281-396-7499.
