Katy families can easily find that festive spirit this season with two big holiday light experiences. Magical Winter Lights opens at Katy Mills Mall this Friday and the Light Park is back at Typhoon Texas.

Katy Families Get Two Large Holiday Light Experiences
Looking for lights and holiday fun? Katy is home to two big holiday light attractions. Magical Winter Lights opens this Friday at Katy Mills and is more than a light show with their carnival and interactive attractions. Returning this year is The Light Park at Typhoon Texas. For years, Katy families have enjoyed this drive through experience.
A Winter Light Display Like No Other
Step into a winter light display like no other as Magical Winter Lights debuts in Katy. Running from November 17- January 7, Magical Winter Lights is at Katy Mills Mall.
Katy families can enjoy over 100 lantern displays, ice princesses, a carnival, shops, food trucks, and photo opportunities galore. Plus, a Dino Fun Zone featuring life-size dinosaurs and other fun surprises.
Take advantage of their early bird sale running through November 16. Tickets must be used November 17-30. Use code EARLY15 for the sale price.
This is more than just looking at holiday lights. Guests get to interact throughout the exhibits. You can walk through illuminated tunnels, admire sculptures, and more.
Something for All Ages
There is something for all ages. Enjoy thrill rides, look out over the lights from the ferris wheel, or meet your favorite princesses.
The fun starts this Friday. Magical Winter Lights is open 5:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. on Saturdays.) Purchase tickets online up until 4:30 p.m. After that they are sold at the gate for the day of.

The Light Park Returns
The Light Park at Typhoon Texas returns this year as another Katy family favorite. This event is perfect for the whole family, including your furry friends as it is a drive through experience.
Each vehicle is one ticket, so families love to load up the car to the fullest and enjoy the experience together. There is also food, drinks and plenty of Christmas music.
