A Great Influencer

Marlin Jordan was born March 8, 1993 in Fort Worth, Texas. Marlin's mother, Kathy Jordan was happy to talk about what kind of son he was.

"He was standing up for those around him even when faced with unbearable and unbelievable circumstances himself," says Kathy. "He was always of great influence to anyone who came in contact with him. He could get anyone to smile, and always knew what to say when someone needed to hear it."

Marlin was the oldest of five children. Since Kathy is a single mother, Marlin often acted as the male role model to his younger sisters. "He was suppose to walk his sister down the aisle in a year," says Kathy. "This man took so much away from us."
