Katy Home Invasion and Shooting

A Katy homeowner’s grown son opened fire when two men broke into the home saying they were with the Houston Police Department. The suspects immediately fired at the residents. Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call reporting the home invasion a little before 11:30 p.m. yesterday at the 3200 block of Windmoor Drive.

Deputies believe that one home invasion suspect accidently shot the other the other before his death. Deputies are still investigating the incident and searching for the second home invasion suspect, who fled is a dark-colored sedan.

Suspects Claimed to be Officers

Both suspects were dressed in heavy body armor and falsely stated that they were with the Houston Police Department.

This is an ongoing investigation, but authorities do believe that the home was targeted.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at 713-755-6044.
