For 20 years, the Katy Home & Outdoor Living show has been connecting homeowners with experts to help them design the home they want. The event takes over the Merrell Center this weekend and guests can register for free passes.

Over 150 exhibitors featuring home improvement, remodeling, decorating, outdoor living & more will take over Katy’s Merrell Center (6301 S. Stadium Lane) this weekend for the 20th Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show.
Founded in 2005 by Robyn and Jeff Cade, the event began as a way bring quality consumer shows to the Katy area. Now two decades later it has grown into one of Texas’ most trusted events in home shows.
"We're thrilled to bring the 20th Annual Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show to life once again — a community favorite that showcases the latest Houston area home design and garden trends and supports our local economy by connecting local businesses with the customers who need them," says show producer Robyn Cade, president of RJC Productions.
The two-day Home and Outdoor Living Show will feature numerous workshops promising ideas and inspiration for homes, both inside and out. Advice from the experts will focus on topics including Texas-friendly landscaping, energy-efficient home solutions and sustainable living practices.
In addition to vendors, guests can find show attractions such as the Kid’s Market, hourly giveaways, Mini-Gift Market, free Bingo with prizes, a dedicated showcase to guests living in 55+ communities, shows featuring the latest kitchen and bath ideas, and more.
There is free admission if guests register online in advance, or you can pay $5 at the door. Parking is free.
The event runs this weekend, August 22, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and August 23, 2026 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
