A Forbes Top 10 Employer

The District once again earned a spot in the Forbes List of Best Employers in the state of Texas, being the only school district named. Katy ISD came in at #8 along with businesses like Dell Technologies, NASA, Southwest Airlines and other renowned companies.

“From our teachers, administrators, operations and support staff, every member of the Katy ISD family strives daily to provide supportive and unparalleled learning experiences to the more than 87,000 students we serve,” says Katy ISD Superintendent Dr. Ken Gregorski.

In its third annual year of releasing the list, Forbes partnered with a market research company, Statista to create the list that is divided into rankings for each state plus the District of Columbia.

They compiled surveys from 80,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees. Anonymous surveys were conducted from October 2020 to June 2021.
