Katy ISD ranks among the highest-performing districts in the state of Texas. Thirty-one campuses were named to the 2025 Texas Honor Roll for outstanding academic achievement and success in closing student performance gaps. The District also earned the Honor Roll distinction.

The annual Honor Roll, presented by Educational Results Partnership (ERP), recognizes schools and districts that demonstrate consistently strong academic results, high levels of student growth and measurable progress among student groups. Approximately 15 percent of eligible schools and 14.5 percent of eligible districts made the Texas Honor Roll list for 2025. Katy ISD had 31 campuses make the list.
“Our Katy ISD campuses are consistently demonstrating that high achievement and student growth go hand in hand,” says Katy ISD Superintendent Ken Gregorski. “This recognition reflects the relentless focus our educators place on meeting every student’s needs, maintaining rigorous expectations and ensuring all learners have the tools to excel.”
The ERP analyzed STAAR testing data from 2023-2025 to compare outcomes across subject areas and cohort groups in order to pick the list.
