Harris County Precinct 5 Deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton's Office responded to a road rage incident in Katy over the weekend and it wasn’t the suspects first offense.

On Saturday morning, June 6, 2026, two drivers approached the stop sign at Clay and Peek Road in Katy. One man got out and waived a gun at the other driver who drove away. They entered into a brief chase down Peek and to Stockdick School Road.

According to authorities, the two drivers lost sight of each other, but when the victim showed up to his residence in Katy Country Estates off of Beckendorff, the suspect was there with his gun.
“We aren’t sure if the suspect knew where the victim lived or if he followed him home at this time,” says a spokesperson with Precinct 5.
The victim was able to safely take a picture of the vehicle with the license plate. Once shared with authorities they were able to go to the correct address where they found the suspect.
The suspect was arrested on Aggravated Assault with the Deadly Weapon. This wasn’t his first offense as he previous had the same charge from Harris County Sherrif’s Office with a similar incident. The Suspect was booked into the Harris County Jail.
