Katy-based nonprofit Clothed by Faith has opened a boutique where community members can shop premium donated items while supporting those in need.

November is a time of giving and Katy is home to several nonprofits that work to make a big impact within this community and Katy residents in need. Residents can now shop at the new Clothed by Faith Boutique, where they can find premium donated items and give back while shopping.
“The boutique gives shoppers an opportunity to find quality items while helping bridge persistent gaps in essential clothing supplies,” says Clothed by Faith executive director Deysi Crespo. "Proceeds from boutique sales will help Clothed by Faith purchase new underwear, socks, and attire specifically needed for school or employment.”
Clothed by Faith has also launched an eBay store, offering another way to shop for a purpose—from the comfort of home or during a break. Online purchases support the nonprofit’s mission to provide a week’s worth of clothing to individuals in need.
Clothed by Faith has been serving the Katy community and beyond for 14 years. They demonstrate God’s love through the provision of clothing to those in need. As demand continues to rise throughout the area, the newly expanded facility (802 Dominion Drive) helps them to process more donations, outfit more clients, and partner with more schools, agencies, and community groups.
“Meeting the growing need in our community requires space, volunteers, and heart. This expansion represents all three,” says Crespo. “We’re grateful for the support that made this possible and excited to welcome the public to see how their generosity is changing lives.”
Founded in 2013, Clothed by Faith demonstrates God’s love through the provision of clothing to those in need with dignity, hope, compassion, and practical support. Serving Katy and surrounding areas, the organization partners with schools, shelters, churches, and social service agencies. To date, it has served over 167,000 people in need.
“Whether shopping at the boutique or on eBay, community members can turn their purchases into practical support for neighbors in need,” says Crespo. “Shop with purpose and support Clothed by Faith in providing a week’s worth of clothing to individuals facing difficult circumstances.”
The new Clothed by Faith Boutique is located at 802 Dominion Dr., Suite 500 in Katy. It’s open Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Clothed by Faith urges Katy families and community groups to commit to a $25 monthly donation that would provide a week’s worth of clothing to someone in need of feeling God’s love. Through small donations, they can keep saying “yes.”
Other ways people can help include being a volunteer. 85% of their work is done by a team of volunteers. This is a great way for service organizations to get hours or for church groups and family groups make a difference that will bring a lasting impact to those served.
They also accept clothing donation. All clothes must be new or gently used. There is a drop box at their Katy location: 802 Dominion Drive. They ask that you only put clothing in the bins and no boxes or clothing on hangers.
