The Katy Rice Harvest Festival continues to raise the bar for the 2026 season and has announced headlining talent Lonestar and Neal McCoy. The historic Katy event gives back to the community and distributed more than $100,000 in scholarships last year to local students, marking the largest amount in event history.

“The Katy Rice Harvest Festival isn’t just another event — it’s a celebration of who we are as a community,” says Kaci Maris, City of Katy Tourism and Marketing Event Coordinator. “Rooted in Katy’s proud agricultural history, the festival began as a way to honor the area’s rice farming heritage — the very industry that built the foundation of this city. Over the years, it’s grown into a beloved tradition that brings together thousands of residents, visitors, and local businesses for one unforgettable weekend in historic downtown Katy.

This year’s event will be Saturday, October 10, 2026 and Sunday, October 11, 2026. Lonestar will headline entertainment on Saturday with Neal McCoy set to close the event out on Sunday evening.

Lonestar, remains one of the most recognizable groups in country music history. Known for hits including “Amazed,” “I’m Already There,” and “My Front Porch Looking In,” the band has earned multiple ACM and CMA awards, a GRAMMY Award, and sold more than 10 million records worldwide.

Neal McCoy, known for crowd favorites like “Wink,” “No Doubt About It,” and “The Shake.” McCoy has earned multiple ACM awards and built a national reputation for his energetic performances and dedication to supporting communities and charitable causes.

Organized by the City of Katy in partnership with the Rotary Club of Katy, the Katy Rice Harvest Festival has become one of the largest and most anticipated community festivals in Texas, drawing thousands of visitors each year for a weekend filled with live entertainment, carnival rides, shopping, food, family attractions, and celebration of Katy’s rich agricultural heritage.

General admission tickets are on sale online now and only $15 which include access to all live concerts throughout the weekend. Children 12 and under receive free admission.

In addition to the concerts, festival attendees can enjoy:

  • Carnival rides and attractions

  • Expanded Agventure experiences celebrating Katy’s rice farming roots

  • Hundreds of vendors and shopping opportunities

  • Food from across Texas and beyond

  • Toddler and family activity zones

  • Sports viewing areas and entertainment spaces

  • Live performances throughout the entire weekend

Sponsorship opportunities for local businesses are also available and filling up.

Sponsorships are not just supporting a festival — they are directly supporting students, nonprofits, and the future of our community,” says Maris. “This event succeeds because businesses, residents, and community leaders come together to create something meaningful for Katy.”

Businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities will receive extensive visibility through festival marketing, media partnerships, onsite branding opportunities, and engagement with thousands of attendees throughout the weekend.

The Katy Rice Harvest Festival Parade will take place the weekend prior to the festival and is a great way for the community to come together.
