Katy’s Central Green Park Brings Free Live Entertainment and Fitness this November

Hello November and hello fun in Katy. Central Green Park is full of free, family fun this month with live entertainment and the addition of more yoga classes as we welcome better weather.

Central Green Park Celebrated 10 Years this Year

Katy’s Central Green Park, located in LaCenterra, is a half-acre public park dedicated to giving Katy families events like fitness classes, free movie nights, live music, and more. This year they celebrated 10 years of serving the Katy community.



“November is a special time at Central Green,” says Yvonne Arceneaux, Willow Fork Drainage District’s Park Director. “Families are in town, people are excited about the upcoming holidays and we get to honor those who made it possible for us to celebrate a community.”


This month if full of several fun events all free to Katy families starting tomorrow.


Central Green Park November Schedule:


Friday, November 3, 2023 at 7 p.m.- La Flor Symphony- They play the Spanish top 40 and are a party within a party! They will be bringing the best Spanish and Top 40 music from all eras.


Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.- Namaste November with instructor Samantha will bring yoga and many vendors to the community.


Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 7 p.m.- Dia de Los Muertos- This will be the 10th annual Day of the Dead Celebration at Central Green Park. It promises to be an enchanting evening of Mexican dances, captivating storytelling, and vibrant face painting.


Friday, November 10, 2023 at 7 p.m.- 10 p.m.- Enjoy Shakespeare in the Park and the classic Taming of the Shrew. The Battle of the Sexes is in this free performance of William Shakespeare’s hilarious The Taming of the Shrew, where frat boy Petruchio sets about to woo and wed the wild Kate as three guys attempt to win her younger sister Bianca for themselves. This comedy is so popular and timeless that it’s inspired many a modern retelling, including THE QUIET MAN, THE CUTTING EDGE, and 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU.



As the weather cools off, Central Green Park has added more free yoga classes.


Yoga is now offered:


Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.


Central Green Park, developed by Willow Fork Drainage District (WFDD,) is located at the south end of LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch. It is a true entertainment destination close to shopping dining, theaters, and libraries. The park provides a multi-purpose venue for many standing weekly events, monthly events, special events, and more.
