Christmas Tree and Farm Fun at Dewberry Farm now thru December 10

Free admission to their Christmas farm, choose and cut your very own tree and enjoy tons of activities like the corn maze, sports ball zone, hay mountain, giant rocking chair and more.

City of Katy Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:30 p.m.

Join the City of Katy for the annual lighting of the Christmas tree located just outside City Hall. There will be a Christmas Story from Mayor Brawner, live entertainment from school choirs and dance companies, and Santa will be happy to take photos. You may also bring a toy for the Marines Toys for Tots Drive, and there will be hot chocolate and cookies for the whole family.

 

FRIDAY, December 1, 2017

Fa-La-La Food Truck and Movie Night from 5 - 8 p.m.

Head on over to Seven Lakes Junior High for some festive fun. There will be a holiday film, food trucks, and lots more.

Cross Creek Ranch Tree Lighting from 6 - 8 p.m.

Cross Creek families can gather at the family playhouse to celebrate the season together and light the community Christmas tree.

Katy Tigers vs. Atascocita Eagles at 7 p.m.

Tiger fans will head to NRG to cheer on their team as they continue their run in the 6A, Division 1, Region 3 playoff game against Atascocita. (Photo by Rams Reyna)

 

SATURDAY, December 2, 2017

Tompkins High School Jingle Jam March-a-Thon from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Clap, dance, and sing along with the Falcon Band as they march along the streets of Katy performing popular holiday songs for your enjoyment. They will make their way through Cinco Ranch and Pine Mill Ranch, and there will be a special appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Cane Island Candy Cane Market from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Enjoy a fun day of shopping in the Amenity Village hosted by Cane Island and The Real Craftwives of Katy and other vendors plus a real life Santa and food and drinks from Growler USA, Yellow Brick Road Winery, and more.

Katy Old Fashioned Christmas Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This yearly event is jam-packed with family fun in the heart of historic Katy. There will be crafts, antiques, jewelry, apparel, and gifts g

alore; PLUS food and entertainment and 50,000 pounds of snow and a Beer Garden provided by No Label Brewery.

Brookwood's Christmas Open House from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Discover the true meaning of Christmas at their open house with shopping a citizen-led pageant, campus tours, and yummy food from the cafe.

Photos with Santa at LaCenterra now thru December 24 from 1 to 5 p.m. Katy kiddos can meet Santa in the courtyard every Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 5 p.m. at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch until Christmas Eve, and check out the Christmas Tree!

Taylor High School's Food Trucks & a Flick at 6 p.m.

Watch Elf and enjoy food from PDQ, Pita Bites, and Cupcakes and a Smile, plus concessions. Hosted by the Lady Mustangs track and field, soccer, and wrestling teams on the Taylor practice fields.

 

SUNDAY, December 3, 2017

Texans Watch Party and Benefit at 12 p.m.

Head to The Local Bar and watch the Houston Texans take on their rivals the Tennessee Titans. Proceeds will benefit The Ballard House, and there will be a raffle.

The Nutcracker Ballet presented by Connolly Dance Arts at 3 p.m.

Connolly Dance Arts is proud to showcase their dancers in their annual production of the Christmas classic, The Nutcracker Ballet. The performance will be held at the Morton Ranch High School PAC. Tickets are $12.
