Man Killed at Katy House Party

A 45-year-old man was shot and killed at a Katy house party yesterday. The case is still under investigation as authorities look to identify the suspect.
A homicide investigation is underway as authorities investigate what led to a deadly shooting and who did it.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a fight at a home on the block of 24600 Sandal Springs Drive in the Lakecrest community. Gunfire reportedly broke out while the 911 call reporting the fight was made.
Upon arrival deputies found a man, yet to be identified, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. He was 45-years-old.
According to authorities, a large get-together resulted in a fight that involved multiple people. Investigators have recovered video for investigation but believe that one of the party goers walked over to a vehicle and took out a firearm to shoot the victim.
The initial investigation shows that the shooter appeared to target the victim and that no one else was in danger.
This investigation is still underway, and authorities are working to identify the shooter.
