The Seven Lakes High School Best Buddies chapter got a special honor at the Sugar Land Skeeters game a few nights ago, when chapter President Anna Fedewa threw the first pitch with SLHS buddy Sam McDivitt.
Fedewa earned this special recognition for her school when, like most Houstonians, she was working on clean up after Hurricane Harvey, and heard that Sam had checked in to a shelter with her family after being evacuated from their home due to flooding. Anna and her father rushed to pick up Sam and her family, and have since helped her and multiple others prepare to return to school.
