Shooting Did Not Happen at School

Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double shooting that resulted in one man's death and injury to another man. Three men were found in a black sedan parked in Cardiff Junior High's parking lot but authorities do not believe the shooting took place there.

Shooting Took Place in Nearby Subdivision

Authorities Seek Public Help

HCSO took to Twitter seeking the public's help. They first reported the event at 2:42 pm, Sunday, May 26.

Residents Should Check Home Security Footage

Home security cameras and apps like Ring doorbell are becoming increasingly helpful in assisting law enforcement. Even if residents didn't witness anything it is possible their cameras captured something. Please take time to check your home security footage if you live in one of those neighborhoods surrounding Cardiff Junior High.

Ongoing Investigation

No one has been arrested and no suspects have been identified in this ongoing case.
