Exploring Your Neighborhood

Enjoy miles of winding trails through one of Katy’s newest subdivisions. Walk, run or bike, alone or with the family, through the well-cared for trails throughout Cane Island.

Katy’s Cinco Ranch community features many subdivisions offering peaceful, tree-lined trails. The scenic paths, of varying lengths, loop around lakes and creeks in the neighborhoods. Click here for a link to trails.

The hiking and biking trails in Cross Creek Ranch offer miles of paved paths with gently rolling hills. Follow the trails along the lakes, and take breaks on shaded park benches, and enjoy the beautiful landscaping, home to diverse wildlife.

Elyson has almost 30 miles of trails that weave through the subdivision. Residents can bike, run or walk on the paths that surround lakes, lead to parks, or the fruit orchards.

Residents of Firethorne subdivision have a trail inside their neighborhood. Firethorne Lake features a .06 mile walking trail that follows its perimeter, plus a 2 mile track around the Wildlife habitat. Seating is also available along the trail.

The mature trees in Nottingham Country provide a rich landscape for the 44-acre Greenbelt Park. Two miles of asphalt trails welcome bikers and joggers, or people on a leisurely stroll taking in the open green space.
