Toys ‘R’ Us is now open inside Katy Mills Mall just in time to help local families with holiday shopping. The location is one of 120 new stores opening across the country.
Great news for Katy kids (and adults who don’t want to grow up,) Toy “R” Us is open in Katy Mills Mall. This location is a full store and not what you previously saw inside Houston-area Macy’s stores.
The opening comes just after the legendary toy retailer announced plans to open 120 stores across the U.S. These are standalone stores that will carry iconic brands such as LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Pokemon, plus collectibles and gifts.
The new stores are part of a partnership with Go! Retail Group. While these are more similar (just a smaller scale) to the stores we all still mourn for, they are different from the smaller “pop-up” that local residents can still find in Macy’s.
New merchandise that shoppers can get excited over will be toys associated with the animated success “KPop Demon Hunters.”
Some of the new stores will include Creator Studios, candy shops or cafes.
The Katy Mills Mall location is currently open and ready to help Santa stuff stockings and put presents under the tree this holiday season.
Shoppers can find current locations through the Toys"R"Us store locator at toysrus.com/store-locator.
