It’s Winter Market season in Katy and families have many options when it comes to finding that perfect holiday décor or gifts. The city also has some big tree lighting ceremonies starting later this week.

As Katy residents plan Thanksgiving feasts, most have begun shopping for holiday gifts and decorations. Katy has several holiday markets perfect for shopping and festive fun.

Home for the Holidays Gift Market

Leonard E. Merrell Center

9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.


Over 150 holiday vendors makes this one the areas largest markets. Enjoy three days of shopping.

 

December 3, 2022

A Katy Old Fashioned Christmas

Katy Market Day

Avenue B and 2nd Street

10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.


As part of the monthly Katy Market Day, this Christmas market has more than just 200 vendors. Families can get pictures with Santa, play on inflatables, enjoy the popular Beer Garden, food trucks and more!

Brazilian Christmas Market

Wildcatter Saloon

1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.


Enjoy Brazilian vendors and celebrate the culture’s culinary, arts, and music. They are also asking for new toys to be donated to the 7th Toy Drive Campaign that benefits kids here in Katy.

Katy Tree Lighting Ceremonies

Katy has three large tree lighting events that residents (especially newcomers) need to know. Most include live entertainment and fun as people gather to welcome the holiday season.
