This popular, California-based chain has tracked its way through the wilderness and into Katy's restaurant scene, and the Bear's Benedict is a perfect introduction. Perfect Hollandaise tops fresh avocado, spinach, grilled tomatoes, thick Hickory and Applewood-smoked bacon, two poached eggs, all resting on a split English muffin, and two sides.
Turkey, Grapes, & Brie Crepe Sweet Paris Creperie

This brand new breakfast gem in LaCenterra offers up great food for any time of the day, but as the name suggests, their passion is creative crepes. Sweet or savory can be found on the menu, but we recommend the Turkey Grapes, and Brie - which gives a little of both. It comes with roasted turkey french brie, red grapes, spring mix, walnuts, and dijon mustard vinaigrette.
Greek Omelette Snappy's 5803 Highway Blvd.
Snappy's has been wildly popular with Katy locals and newcomers alike with down-home breakfasts and lunches for over 15 years. The owners hail from a small town in Greece, so it goes without saying that their Greek-inspired dishes can't be beat. For breakfast, try the massive Greek omelette. Four large eggs make the base for gyro meat and tomatoes, topped with cheese and Tzatsiki sauce with your choice of pita break or a biscuit.

Sometimes, you just need to satisfy your sweet tooth. Snooze does some really cool things like offer free coffee while you wait for a table, but we love what they can do with a pancake! Our fave is the Pineapple Upside Down. Pancake batter is loaded up with caramelized chunks of pineapple and topped with housemaid vanilla butter anglaise and cinnamon butter.

Katy foodies positively rave over the food at Tiger Noodle House, and it's no surprise why. The Chengdu Grilled Fish is packed with flavor from more than 20 Chinese herbs, comes in a huge portion for a great price, and tops fresh, grilled veggies.

Drix is a win, no matter what atmosphere you're looking for. With a play area for families and a designated adults-only section, you can do date night or family night any day of the week. One of their most popular dishes is the eggplant paremesan - two enourmous slabs of fresh eggplant lightly breaded and fried, and topped with both a tomato-based and a cream-based sauce. It comes with mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and a side salad for a mere $12. Add a cheap cocktail too - they have a great happy hour every day from 4-7.
