Shortly after the deputies arrived at the scene, they investigated security cameras, looked in trash cans, and searched the ground for shell casings. The authorities are looking for two males and two females in a white Dodge.

The victim and the suspects have not been named, nor has information been released if they are residents at the location of the shooting. That address is zoned to Seven Lakes High School.

Westheimer Lakes residents took to social media to express concern over the incident. Ashley Turner shared on the FBCSO Facebook group that she heard one shot from across the street.

"I thought it was fireworks," she wrote.
