Here are three tried and true tricks to relieve your pounding head and get you through the day.

If you had a little too much champagne and stayed up a little too late imbibing last night, you are not alone. We got up early to research the best hangover remedy available to help relieve your pounding head STAT.

1. TAKE MOTRIN/IBUPROFEN. Make sure and take it with 2 to 3 large glasses of room temperature water. (Drink slowly.)

2. EAT EGGS. Eggs contain large amounts of cysteine, the substance that breaks down the hangover-causing toxin acetaldehyde in the liver's easily depleted glutathione.)

3. EAT TOAST WITH HONEY. The carbs in the bread help absorb remaining alcohol in your system and relieves nausea. The honey has fructose which the National Headache Foundation says can help ease an achy head.
