By Addie Davis

This weekend, the Leonard E. Merrell Center will host seven Katy ISD commencement ceremonies. Arrive early to find parking and line up outside, or find another route to avoid the traffic in the area this weekend.

All Katy High School graduations (with the exception of Raines High School) will be held at the Merrell Center at staggered times from Friday, May 24 through Sunday, May 26.

Some high schools may have extra tickets available at the Merrell Center an hour before commencement begins. However, for some ceremonies, attendees may have to sit in overflow seating and watch graduation on a monitor from the Board Room of the Educational Support Complex.

To watch commencements from home, or for out-of-town friends and family to enjoy the event, log on to www.merrellcenter.org to watch a live stream of each graduation.
