Though the heat may not show it, Fall is in the air. The Katy area is full of great Fall festivals and events that families love.

Katy has you covered when it comes to celebrating all things Fall! Enjoy pumpkin patches, festivals, a carnival and so much more at some of these local family favorites.

Dewberry Farm has it all for fall including pumpkin patches, 40 rides & attractions, great food, and adorable fall photo-ops. Explore their pumpkin patch, paint pumpkins, follow a trail of glowing jack-o-lanterns inside "Pumpkin Hollar," spin out on the new Jumping Jacks ride, meet adorable Barnyard Animals, or explore the 8-acre HOUSTON ASTROS-themed corn maze. Too many attractions to list. Season runs September 16- November 12. General admission tickets or season passes, senior discounts, and children 2 and under are free.


STARTING IN OCTOBER: Dewberry Farm has fun and spooky BOOriffic Nights too. Take a scary stroll through Haunted Hollow, see hundreds of glowing jack-o-lanterns, throw axes with Jason at Camp Crystal Lake, see life-sized lanterns of your horror heroes, take photos in a set from Stranger Things, and more! Typhoon Texas

Make plans to attend Katy's favorite German bier fest on Sat., Sept 30 from 5-10 pm at Typhoon Texas This family-friendly, annual fun-filled Katy festival is not to be missed! Enjoy lots of German-themed food and beers along with live music and entertainment, a parade and chicken dancing. The festival is family friendly and has plenty of kids attractions and activities too. Other Oktoberfest fun includes a Mr & Mrs Oktoberfest competition, Beer Pong, Stein races including: Beer Stein Stacking, Beer Stein Holding or Masskrugstemmen

The Fort Bend County Fair has grown into one of the largest and most successful fairs in Texas. The event includes a BBQ Cook-Off, live entertainment performances from Texas country legends like Kevin Fowler, Sammy Kershaw and more. Enjoy games, Ag'tivity Barn, coloring contest as well as the naming of the Fort Bend County Fair Queen. Save money on tickets in advance online or buy them at the gate. Children 5 and under are free. The popular BBQ Cook-Off will be September 22-23 this year.

 

Monster Mash


October 6, 2023

Central Green Park

LaCenterra

Central Green Park and Willow Fork Drainage District bring the family fun to Katy for Monster Mash. Enjoy mascots, a costume contest (5pm-6pm,) and arts and crafts, a witches dance and more. The fun is at Central Green Park in LaCenterra.



 



October 13-15, 2023

Historic Downtown Katy


Enjoy hometown family fun hundreds of vendor booths, live music, carnival rides, and more. Children under 12 are free. Adults tickets are $10. Find easy and free parking at the Merrell Center that offers a free shuttle to the event. Get tickets and see a full schedule online.



 

ECDC Fall Family Festival

October 14, 2023

3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Experience fall with balloon art, cotton candy, bounce houses, face painting, food, train rides, bake sale, pumpkin patch, and more at St. Peter’s Early Childhood Development Center’s Annual Festival. All proceeds go back to the preschool.

4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.


The Katy Heritage Society brings old school fun for all ages to their first ever big fall festival event. Play over 20 vintage carnival games, eat food, cotton candy, enjoy a petting zoo and more. Early bird tickets are on sale now. Get 25 tickets for $20. The price will go up at the gate. All proceeds benefit Katy’s oldest non-profit, the Katy Heritage Society.
