Harris County Sheriff’s Department Deputies responded to a call in Raintree Village yesterday morning regarding an armed individual. A man had allegedly broken into a home and barricaded himself in.
Parents taking students to bus stops yesterday morning were surprised to see the street of Rainmont Lane in Raintree Village lined with police. Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call regarding an armed man who had broken into a home at the 3100 block of Rainmont Lane.
Suspect Barricaded Himself in the Home
The man barricaded himself in the home while deputies worked the scene and ultimately, he was arrested. No one was at the home at the time of the alleged home invasion.
Incident is Under Investigation
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez asked that residents stay clear of the scene, but no residents were ever believed to be in danger throughout the incident.
This incident is currently under investigation.
