After a month-long search, three suspects have been arrested in the case of an armed robbery of an armored vehicle outside of Katy’s H-Mart grocery store.

Â
On November 15, 2025, around 8:00 a.m. the robbery took place in front of H Mart at 23110 Colonial Parkway in Katy’s Asian Town. According to deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the thieves took cash from the armored vehicle, and the driver was not harmed.
Â
The suspects who had forced the courier to the ground with AR-style rifles fled the scene in a Hyundai sedan. The authorities stated that they later recovered the getaway car by a hotel near Barker Cypress and were investigated if it was stolen.
Â
The case has been under investigation by the Violent Offender Detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Their investigation has involved nearby surveillance footage, processing the scene for evidence, and interviewing witnesses.
Â
On Tuesday, multiple law enforcement agencies arrested the suspects, including the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit, the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Houston Police Department’s Criminal Apprehension Team.
Â
Authorities identified the suspects as 29-year-old Darius Alexander, 22-year-old Amon Alexander and 33-year-old Willie Boyd. HCSO confirmed that the suspects stole approximately $90,000 after disarming the security officer.
Â
All three were arrested without incident and have been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
Â
The investigation is still ongoing. Authorities ask that anyone with information to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit at 713-274-9365 or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
