Katy authorities seek the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole a credit card from a victim’s locker at the Cinco Ranch Lifetime Fitness. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered.

Fort Bend County detectives seek the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole an American Express credit card from a victim’s locker at the Lifetime Fitness at 23211 Cinco Ranch Boulevard in Katy.
Suspect has Used the Card
The suspect stole the credit credit card from Lifetime Fitness on Sunday, August 29. Shortly after, he used the credit card at the Target store at 10241 W. Grand Parkway in Richmond.

$5K Reward Offered
Anyone with information is asked to contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477.) Calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous. Information leading to an arrest of this suspect could earn up a $5,000 cash reward.

As always, stay vigilant and do what you can to prevent becoming a victim.
Don't Become a Victim
Have your bank send automated alerts to your cellphone whenever your credit card is used.
Have them set the minimum charge for a notification at just $1.
Contact one of the three credit reporting agencies and ask them to put a fraud alert on your credit report.
Check your mail daily. Do not let it sit in your mailbox for days at a time.
Check your credit report at least once a year.
If you suspect your card has been stolen, notify authorities immediately.
