Diana Lopez, an associate professor at University of Houston Victoria, will be signing copies of her book "Coco: A Story About Music, Shoes and Family" on Thursday, February 1st.

Inspired by the Disney Pixar film of the same name, Lopez's novel follows young Miguel on a daring adventure to discover more about his family. The event is free and open to the public, and starts at 6 p.m. at University of Houston Victoria - Katy campus, 2002 Grand Pkwy S.
Where to get it
During the event Lopez will read from the book and take part in a question-and-answer session.
Coco was written for middle grades (8-12) and is available at Books-A-Million in Katy.
