The Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library will host a book sale where Katy families can enjoy great deals. Donations are being accepted to support this event that shares the love of reading with the community.

The annual Fall Book Sale hosted by the Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be Saturday 6, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library (2620 Commercial Center Blvd.) in Cinco Ranch.
“The Friends of the Library book sale is a great way to connect with the community and to welcome people into the library to see what we are about,” says Debbie Moseley, President of the Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library.“The funds we raise at the book sale support the library by enabling them to have community programs that reach all ages and interests. It is also a great way to make books available to so many people.”
This is a great opportunity for Katy families to buy books at bargain prices and donate to the community. Most items will be $1.00 or less. Cash and checks will be accepted.
Both children’s and adult books will be available as well as new releases, fiction, nonfiction, classics, DVDs and CDs.
Donations of gently used books (fiction and nonfiction adult, youth, and children’s hardback and paperback books that are clean and not torn) are always welcome and may be taken to the library throughout the year during regular business hours. Textbooks are also accepted.
Donations currently not accepted are cassettes, VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, encyclopedias, medical/legal/computer books older than 2019, or books that are damp, moldy, dirty, or insect ridden.
The Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library organization is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation. Donations and contributions to the Friends are tax-deductible.
The Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library organization is instrumental in funding library programs such as the Summer Reading Challenge. Proceeds from the book sale and annual membership dues also help to underwrite the costs of special programming, materials, and various cultural events at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library.
Membership applications will be available for people who would like to join the Friends of Cinco Ranch Branch Library.
