The Robert R. Shaw Center for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) invites Katy families with children in grades 3 - 8 out for a night of fun and learning.

Katy ISD students in grades 3-8 and their parents can RSVP to the event at the Robert R. Shaw Center for STEAM (1730 Katyland Dr.) from 6 - 9 p.m on Friday, December 8.
Lots of brilliant minds and fun activities
The evening will feature presentations from Rice University, Katy ISD National Honor Society, Katy ISD Police, Fort Bend Astronomy Club, and more. There will also be stations for students get their hands on materials used in art, engineering, and robotics.
About the STEAM Center
The Robert R. Shaw Center for STEAM is designed to provide students across grade levels with space to bring ideas from conception through design to production. It's about young people collaborating with professional mentors and volunteers representing STEAM-related occupations on authentic activities and with authentic applications. Projects at the Shaw Center are developed around interdisciplinary learning with an emphasis on inspiring students to be innovators in the areas of science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics.
