Cook n Grow, a popular cooking school from College Station, has opened its second location at 2004 S Mason Road in Katy. The school is now enrolling students for spring break camps, summer camps, and scheduling birthday parties, events, and classes for all ages.
Gina Carrera, founder and owner of Cook n Grow, came up with the idea for Cook n Grow and opened her first location in College Station five years ago. "We’re so excited to be here," says Carrera. "I love Katy and can’t wait to meet and serve more Katy families!"
Carrera grew up around food and despite her schooling in architecture, she couldn't shake her desire to work with people and kids, cooking in the kitchen. Her family owns a winery in Mexico, her mom runs a catering business, and her brothers are all chefs.
Cook n Grow offers everything cooking-related including weekly classes, cooking camps, birthday parties, adult classes, private classes, and even corporate events. "We recently ran a corporate event for over 300 employees to have fun cooking and team building," says Carrera.
