Body camera footage caught true heroism earlier this week when a Fort Bend County Constable assisted a woman in crisis. He intervened when calls came in describing her as hanging over a Katy overpass.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, locals called into 911 to alert authorities of a woman hanging over the overpass at SH 99 and FM 1093.
The woman had her legs over the edge when Deputy Terrance Greene arrived to the scene. Body camera footage shows Deputy Greene calmly approach the woman, who was clearly in crisis.
“True heroism isn’t loud,” says Fort Bend County Constable Chad Norvell. “It’s the calm voice, the steady hand, and compassion that pulls someone back from the edge.”
