Early voting opens in Katy today, Monday, April 20, 2026. Katy is a unique city with three counties and depending on where you live, you could have different ballots. Here’s what you need to know about this election.

Early voting opens today, April 20, 2026 and runs through April 28, 2026. The General Election is May 2, 2026. When voting early, residents have more options on where they go and can expect shorter lines.
This election has three positions for the Katy ISD Board of Trustees . City of Katy residents will be voting for three new City Council members as the previous office holders have met their term limits. This marks an election that will see much change to both the Katy ISD Board of Trustees and the City of Katy City Council.

The City of Katy holds joint elections with Katy ISD. Early voting, which opens today, April 20, 2026 from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. at the following locations.
