Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who was seen on camera damaging decorations outside Fuzzy’s Pizza and Italian Café, located at 613 S. Mason Road. This incident occurred on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, around 9:09 p.m.

The suspect ripped cords and motors from inflatables bears and kicked and beat them. He left the scene carrying a Hanukkah dreidel decoration and left the Santa untouched.

This isn’t just a prank or petty theft,” wrote Jeff Hajjar, Owner of Fuzzy’s Pizza Katy on social media. “It’s a reminder that visible Jewish joy and identity still provoke hate. And it hurts because all we wanted was to celebrate together, to share hope and resilience after a year that’s already been so heavy for our community.”

Last week Fuzzy’s Pizza celebrated Hanukkah with members of the Jewish community and the community. They donated 18% of sales to the Holocaust Museum Houston and continue to thank and support local rabbis.

“I’m angry,” says Hajjar. “I’m heartbroken. But I am not afraid. The story of Hanukkah and the Jewish people is about pushing back the darkness, over and over, no matter how many times someone tries to snuff us out.”

He continues to say that the man in the video proves why Hanukkah matters.

“Share your light wherever you are, and don’t let anyone make you feel small for being who you are. We were here last night, and we’re still here today,” says Hajjar. “We’re not going anywhere.”

Fuzzy’s Pizza and Italian Café has been proudly serving Katy since 1995. They are known for their community support and the location for many celebrations and gatherings.

Investigators with Harris County Sheriff’s Office ask for anyone to call 713-221-6000 if they recognize this individual or have any information.
