Here is a an updated list of places offering shelter in Katy, Texas.
NOTE: You can follow Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort (For Katy and Surrounding Areas) on Facebook for minute-to-minute updates on shelter availability, information about volunteering, donations, and more.
NOTE: KATY HIGH SCHOOL IS NOT A SHELTER. Katy High School is a FEMA/ Coast Guard/National Guard Staging Center, but is not a shelter. This was just confirmed with Katy ISD August 29, at 10:30 AM.
LIFE CHURCH 26189 Westheimer Pkwy. 281-395-5433 They are open as a shelter, have adequate supplies, and do not need any volunteers at this time.
THE FELLOWSHIP 22765 Westheimer Pkwy. 281-395-3950 They are accepting evacuees, but do not need any more donations at this time. CHRIST CLINIC 25722 Kingsland Blvd. 281-391-0910 Open to all patients FREE of charge. Will see patients on a walk-in basis and can write prescriptions.
SPOTLIGHT ACTING ACADEMY 832-913-6884 22758 Westheimer Pkwy., Ste 220. In need of volunteers and donations.

NEEDS for FIRST RESPONDERS/VOLUNTEERS ONLY: - K-cups
- Disposable coffee cups and stirrers
- Creamer
- Sugar
- Artificial sweeteners
- Snacks
- Microwaveable hot meals
- macaroni and cheese, soup, oatmeal
- Granola bars
IMPORTANT:When you are dropping off these donations at Fulshear HS, be sure to say it's for the volunteers, otherwise the donations will not be accepted. Currently accepting donations of plastic totes and bins to organize donations. They are accepting hygiene, feminine products, and baby items, such as formula, diapers, and wipes. We are currently sorting donations and preparing to move this stuff out.

CINCO RANCH HIGH SCHOOL

UPDATE: 1 p.m. 8/30/17 Per Katy ISD Communications, the number of evacuees is decreasing, so the remaining evacuees at Cinco Ranch Junior High and Morton Ranch High School will now be moved to Cinco Ranch High School. They are no longer taking evacuees. Families still in need of supplies can come to CRHS and pick them up until 3 p.m.

Katy Elks Lodge 1050 Katy Fort Bend They are a donation hub and staging area for first responders. NEED: food for first responders and volunteers as of 12:15 p.m. 8/30.
Camp Bow Wow Katy *Beginning 8/30 1515 Vander Wilt Ln.
Starting on 8/30. Some must-needed items include towels, dog food, cat litter, diapers, formula, socks, and newspaper to name a few.
Century 21 Western Realty 21945 Katy Fwy. They will be accepting donations for the remainder of the week and delivering to local shelters. Call 281-935-9186.
Cinco Ranch Veterinary Hospital 2519 Cinco Park Place In need of veterinary services for evacuated animals. Any vets with preliminary medical supplies are appreciated.
Crossfit 1420 1420 Katy Flewellen Rd. Accepting clothes, shoes, blankets, diapers, wipes, baby formula, etc. 8/30 - 9/1, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
CrossPoint Westgreen 700 Westgreen Blvd. Official clothes distribution point for Clothed by Faith. You can bring clean, gently used clothing for men and children of all sizes. Collections of new underwear, socks, and decent shoes for everyone is needed.
Current Christian Church 26600 Westheimer Pkwy. Current Christian Church has teams of volunteers ready to help repair/clean damaged homes in the area - click on the link to fill out the form and request help here.
First United Methodist Katy 5601 E 5th St.
Opening at 10 a.m. for people to drop off donations as well as offering supplies to families in need.
Holy Covenant United Methodist Church 22111 Morton Ranch Rd. They are acting as a donation hub for Hurricane Harvey victims. Needed:clothes, food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, diapers/baby supplies, pet supplies, etc.
Midway BBQ
Taking food donations to be cooked for first responders, volunteers, evacuees in front of Segway. NEEDS: Ice, coolers, large trash bags, trash cans, waters/drinks, meat, foil, to go containers, hot dog buns, hamburger buns.
No Label Brewing Co. 5351 1st St. They are open from 12 - 6 p.m. and are accepting volunteers and donations to deliver to local shelters.

Donations can be dropped off and will be delivered by the American Red Cross to a shelter nearby.
